Digitally Smart Classrooms
DPS AMBALA provides, twenty first century educational mechanisms for efficacious interactive learning sessions, which instigate out of box learning in students. In today’s competitive world, children need the skill sets, which are beyond subject knowledge and require concentration assimilation and retention. In this regard the role of smart classes is quite important. At DPS its importance is manifested with the installation of the Boards in every class room.
Our Smart classes comprise the use of all interactive modules like videos and presentations which are appealing to students. In fact our smart classes are almost like watching movies and sometimes, animated visuals are used to teach a concept. This kind of visual is eye catching and our young students easily relate with them.
Watching highly engaging visuals and animations makes learning enjoyable for students while improving their overall academic performance in school.
Techno Centre (Computer Lab)
TECHNO CENTER is packed with an ECO friendly Hi-Tech Computer Lab which offers the students to gain hand on experience of the modern Information Technology and acquire the practical knowledge and the applications of modern Computer Science. The Lab is fully equipped with High Speed Broadband Connection and all the latest software which helps students access the required information for learning as well as executing projects and assignments with ease.
Science Labs
DPS has the extensive three well-equipped science labs which provides an experimental foundation for the concepts introduced. Students enhance their learning by doing varied experiments independently which kindles their interest visually and kinesthetically. It also deviates them from rote learning and enriches their thinking ability and drawing skills. It enables the learners to familiarize themselves with experimental apparatus, scientific methods applied, and to make careful observations and draw conclusions in relation to the experiment. Well trained teachers guide the DPS students through a comprehensive planned schedule of practical classes. The safety of every child is duly taken care of.
Social Science Lab
Our Social Science Lab consists of Models, Globes, Tools and Equipment etc. The tools and equipment is complimented by the most extensive set of Maps and Charts We provide space to conduct seminars, group discussion, debates and other activities like clay modeling, chart making, collage work, map work, poster making, role play etc., promising truly interactive and experiential learning in social science.
Mathematics Lab
Mathematics Lab provides opportunity for children to enjoy Maths, understand its basic structure, pose and solve meaningful problems. Students learn through working different models so that they may get a firm grab on the various concepts. Teachers emphasize the mathematical process using a variety of mathematical teaching aids in the form of models, games, charts, CDs, books etc.
Library
DPS LIBRARY has a very well stocked library with books ranging from academic and curriculum related reference books to novels and classics of a wide range of authors for the enrichment of students ensuring a conducive environment both for readers and learners. The library also consists of encyclopedias, magazines, dailies and other informative books to widen students’ horizon beyond the framework of the syllabus
