NCC
DPS AMBALA provides its students NCC training. The cadets are selected from Class VIII onwards and include both boys and girls. The NCC at DPS aims at developing character, comradeship, discipline, a secular outlook and a sporting spirit, all of which are critical elements of a child’s education. We proudly affirm that the qualified NCC cadets are given preference when applying to schools, colleges, and many government positions, including the defense forces.
FACULTY AT DPS
All teachers at DPS are core professionals. We believe that children think and learn differently and that intelligence is expressed in a multitude of ways, hence our curriculum has a multifaceted approach to incorporate all intellectual domains. Teachers create an invigorating ambience that kindles the curiosity of every child.
TRANSPORT FACILITY
The School provides safe and comfortable transport to take pupils to and from the school.
The students in buses are accompanied by teachers and other staff members to ensure safe travel and maintenance of discipline. The Transport In-charge constantly monitors the bus staff and pre-fixes the routes, keeping in mind the comfort of the maximum number of students. To ensure safe travel the school has its own fleet of outsourced school buses designed as per standards and manned by trained drivers and personnel sensitized to the needs of small children. The Transport Service (optional) is operated by the school and a separate transport fee is charged for this. For supervision and monitoring a transport attendant is on board throughout the journey.

The school believes that Parent involvement and participation is central to the progress of the school and the children. Parent involvement makes a significant statement about the importance of education, reinforces the values of our school to achieve success.
