DPS Society has taken the lead in school education. It has about 170 schools across the globe in 11 countries. The Delhi Public school for the first time in India was established in 1941 in the name of Church High School in the President’s Estate. In 1947 the name was changed to Naveen Bharat School and finally renamed as Delhi Public School at Mathura Road, New Delhi in 1949.
